AeroPrecision
The Aero Precision Suppressor Tephra 22LR is a compact, modular .22 LR silencer engineered for shooters who want effective sound suppression without bulk or complexity. Built around seven 17-4 stainless steel baffles, the Tephra 22 handles everything from casual plinking and small-game hunting to precision varmint work, delivering a noticeably quieter shooting experience in a package that weighs just 7.2 ounces.
Sound suppression on .22 rimfire is all about smart baffle design and durable materials. Aero Precision's use of 17-4 stainless baffles isn't just about longevity—it also makes field cleaning practical. You can break down the Tephra 22 for ultrasonic cleaning or simple solvent work without fighting tight tolerances or fragile internals. The outer tube and end cap are aluminum, anodized for corrosion resistance, while the serialized housing receives a black nitride finish that handles hard use and wet conditions.
At 5.4 inches long and 1.1 inches in diameter, the Tephra 22 remains handy on lightweight .22 rifles, whether you're running a takedown platform for backcountry trips or a fixed barrel for consistent accuracy. The suppressor's rating extends beyond .22 LR to cover 5.7x28, so if you own both rimfire and centerfire .22-class pistols or rifles, one can serve multiple guns. This versatility makes it practical for the shooter with a diverse battery.
Whether you're zeroing a new rifle at the bench, pest-controlling on a neighbor's land, or hunting rabbits and squirrels where noise matters, the Tephra 22 keeps things hearing-safe and neighbor-friendly. It's straightforward, robust, and built to last.

Yes. The Tephra 22's baffle design supports field cleaning with ultrasonic cleaners and solvents. The removable baffle stack makes maintenance straightforward without requiring specialized tools or professional service.
The suppressor measures 5.4 inches in length. It's compact enough for most rifle cases and soft cases, but if you plan to transport a suppressed rifle in a specific case, verify your clearance beforehand.
