The Aero Precision M5 Precision Breach is a purpose-built charging handle for the M5/AR308 platform, engineered for shooters who demand ambidextrous control and dependable performance under hard use. Unlike traditional charging handles, the BREACH is built around a reinforced 7075-T6 aluminum bar designed to handle real-world demands—whether you're running your rifle suppressed, working through carbon fouling at speed, or executing one-handed charges. Its compact, ergonomic levers work equally well from either side of the gun, making it ideal for tactical applications, precision shooting, and hunters who need flexibility in their shooting position.

The engineering here is thoughtful. Aero Precision's patent-pending dual spring system in the lever mechanism redirects the force of charging into the solid bar itself, not into the roll pins—a common failure point on standard handles. This means you can charge hard with one hand without worrying about damage. The reduced chamfer angles on the body give the BREACH a strong, rigid foundation that resists flex and rotational stress, critical traits when you're relying on a charging handle under pressure or during rapid strings of fire.

Suppressor shooters will appreciate the gas deflection shelf, which aligns with your upper receiver to redirect blast and gas away from your face—a real quality-of-life upgrade when running cans. The lever design also incorporates functional cuts that help clear stubborn carbon buildup, and the spacer mechanism seals the lever cavity to keep debris out of your action. It's the kind of attention to detail that separates a good component from one built to last.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this work with my AR-10 or large-frame rifle?

The M5 Precision Breach is designed for the M5/AR308 platform, so compatibility is limited to firearms built on that spec. Check your upper receiver's compatibility with the M5 standard before ordering.

Can I actually charge this one-handed without breaking it?

Yes. The dual spring lever system and reinforced aluminum body are designed to handle one-handed charging. The force is directed into the solid bar and head of the handle rather than stressing the roll pins, which is where traditional handles often fail under aggressive use.

Does this help with suppressed shooting?

The gas deflection shelf aligns with your upper receiver to redirect gas and blast away from your face when shooting with a suppressor, making the gun more comfortable to shoot and improving your ability to track your target.

What comes in the box?

The product ships as the BREACH charging handle itself; installation into your M5 upper receiver is required and typically takes a few minutes with basic tools.
