AeroPrecision
The Aero Precision MOD 4 Handguard is a precision-engineered M-LOK rail built for shooters who demand a stiff, stable platform without compromise. This 10.6-inch AR-15 handguard is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and designed to minimize deflection under load—a critical feature when running optics, lasers, or mounted accessories that need to stay zeroed. The steel barrel nut doesn't just secure the rail; it reduces point-of-impact shift when using infrared laser aiming devices under pressure, making it especially valuable for tactical and precision applications.
Installation is straightforward: the barrel nut requires no timing, and its lug pattern matches standard mil-spec castle nuts, so you won't need specialty tools or adapters. The handguard ships with the barrel nut and mounting hardware, and two anti-rotation set screws provide redundancy and a solid fit even on third-party upper receivers. At 14.78 ounces, the 10.6" length keeps weight low while maintaining the rigidity you need for consistent performance.
Customization is built in. A full-length, 7-sided M-LOK interface gives you unlimited options for mounting lights, vertical grips, bipods, or rail sections. The four steel-reinforced QD sockets are a telling detail—they're engineered to handle repeated attachment and removal of steel sling mounts without wearing out. Whether you're building a precision rifle, a duty gun, or a highly modular tactical platform, the MOD 4 delivers the engineering that separates Aero Precision from the rest.
