The Aero Precision Atlas R-One 12.70" M-LOK handguard is built for shooters who want a lightweight rail system that doesn't compromise on strength or modularity. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and topped with a full-length Picatinny rail, this handguard keeps weight down while giving you plenty of real estate for optics, lights, lasers, and other accessories. The black anodized finish is durable and won't show fingerprints the moment you touch it—practical for a working gun.
What sets the Atlas R-One apart is Aero Precision's proprietary ATLAS mounting system. Instead of the stress concentrations you get with conventional designs, the ATLAS uses mirrored tapered locking nuts that distribute clamping force evenly across a custom barrel nut. A ratcheting detent locks everything in place and ensures positive registration during install. The result: a handguard that stays put without twisting or distorting. All mounting hardware is included, so you're not hunting for a barrel nut or wrench—just mount and shoot. The 12.70" length strikes a balance between coverage and control, and the 1.3" inner diameter accommodates low-profile gas blocks without interference.
This handguard is purpose-built for M4E1 upper receivers and fully compatible with any mil-spec AR-15 upper and barrel—the backbone of a reliable rifle. Quick-disconnect sling sockets at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions give you flexibility for how you carry and deploy your gun, whether you're running a two-point sling for hunting or a single-point for tactical work. If you're assembling a lightweight build or upgrading an existing rifle, the Atlas R-One delivers the weight savings and functional design Aero Precision is known for.
