The Aero Precision Ultralight 30mm scope mount combo pairs a lightweight, rigid platform with AR-platform shooters who refuse to compromise on durability. Built from 6061 T6 extruded aluminum and hard-coat black anodized, this SPR-profile ring system mounts directly to Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rails and locks down optics with cross-slot keyway recoil protection. At just 3.36 ounces, it's engineered to cut weight without sacrificing the solid, repeatable zero that serious hunters and precision rifle shooters demand.

The rear ring sits 2 inches forward of standard spacing—a geometry choice that gives you proper eye relief with modern tactical scopes while maintaining the sight plane balance your AR upper receiver needs. Whether you're running a hunting setup on an SPR-style rifle or a dedicated range gun, this mount delivers the minimalist philosophy Aero Precision has built its reputation on: do one thing, do it right, weigh almost nothing.

Mil-Spec Picatinny rail compatibility means this combo works across the broadest selection of AR uppers and bolt carriers. The aluminum construction resists corrosion in the field, and the cross-slot keyway design has proven itself under recoil, shot after shot. For AR shooters tired of chunky, overbuilt mounts that add ounces for no real gain, the Ultralight combo is the stripped-down alternative.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this mount work on my AR-15 or AR-10 upper receiver?

Yes—the mount is designed to fit standard Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny rails found on both platforms, as long as your upper has that standard rail configuration.

What's the 2-inch forward ring position for?

The rear ring is pushed forward 2 inches from standard spacing to optimize eye relief, making it easier to get a proper sight picture and reducing the chance of scope ring markings on your face during recoil.

Does this combo include both rings, or just one?

This is a combo package—it includes both the front and rear rings in one unit.

How much does the complete mount weigh?

The entire combo weighs 3.36 ounces, making it one of the lightest scope mount options available for AR platforms.
