The Aero M4E1-T complete upper receiver in 16" HBAR Mid FDE is a purpose-built AR-15 upper that ships assembled and ready to mount to your lower receiver. Built on Aero's enhanced M4E1 forging, this upper combines a heavy-profile 5.56 barrel with a modern handguard platform and gas system tuned for reliability. It's the platform of choice for shooters building a do-it-all rifle—whether you're setting up a duty gun, match carbine, or reliable field rifle—without the guesswork of sourcing compatible parts.
The M4E1-T upper receiver features an enhanced forging that delivers a billet aesthetic with a picatinny profile that integrates seamlessly with Aero's modern handguard line. M4 feedramps ensure reliable chambering, while laser-engraved T-marks aid in sight alignment and disassembly. The receiver ships with port door and forward assist already installed, cutting down your assembly time. Mid-length gas tube and low-profile gas block keep sight lines low and provide a balance between recoil impulse and service life that most shooters prefer for general-purpose carbines.
The 15" ATLAS S-ONE M-LOK handguard gives you full top-rail real estate for optics, lights, or lasers, while quick-disconnect sling sockets at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions let you mount support however you shoot. The included A2 birdcage flash hider is a classic, proven design. Note that this upper does not include a bolt carrier group or charging handle—you'll need to source those separately to complete your build.

Yes. The M4E1-T threaded upper receiver uses standard AR-15 takedown pin holes (.250") and will mount to any milspec AR-15 lower receiver.
The heavier HBAR contour reduces muzzle rise and blast compared to pencil or mid-weight barrels, making follow-up shots easier and improving accuracy. It also handles sustained fire better and resists thermal shift, making it ideal for duty, competition, and general-purpose shooting where reliability matters.
Yes. The low-profile gas block is designed to stay out of the way of low-mounted optics and the ATLAS S-ONE handguard is compatible with low-profile gas blocks, so you can run your preferred sight setup without interference.
