The Aero Precision AR-15 assembled upper receiver gives you a pre-built foundation for a reliable, mil-spec compliant rifle. Built from 7075-T6 forged aluminum and precision machined to M16/M4 specifications, this upper comes ready to pair with your lower receiver—port door and forward assist are already installed. It's the kind of no-fuss component that lets you focus on building or upgrading rather than wrestling with assembly. Whether you're putting together your first AR or swapping uppers for a new caliber, this receiver handles standard AR-15 components and plays well with the ecosystem.

The M4 feedramp design ensures reliable feeding across common cartridges, and the laser-engraved T-marks keep your setup oriented at a glance. The .250 takedown pin holes follow standard specs, so it mates smoothly with Aero Precision lower receivers and other quality lowers built to mil-spec. At just 8.35 ounces, it won't bloat your rifle's weight budget.

Available in black anodize, this receiver handles the hard use that comes with range sessions, hunting trips, and competition. Aero Precision's reputation in the AR market rests on precision manufacturing and attention to detail—this upper is no exception. Pair it with a quality barrel, bolt carrier group, and handguard, and you've got the backbone of a shooter worth trusting.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this AR-15 upper receiver compatible with Aero Precision lowers?

Yes. This assembled upper is precision machined to mil-spec M16/M4 specifications and works with Aero Precision AR-15 lower receivers as well as any standard AR-15 lower built to the same specs.

What comes included with this upper receiver?

The upper comes fully assembled with the port door and forward assist already installed. You'll need to source a barrel, bolt carrier group, charging handle, and handguard separately to complete your build.

Can I use this upper receiver for multiple calibers?

This is an upper receiver—caliber compatibility depends on the barrel you pair it with. The receiver itself works with standard AR-15 barrels chambered in common cartridges that use M4 feedramps, but always verify barrel compatibility before assembly.

What's the weight of this upper receiver?

The assembled upper receiver weighs 8.35 ounces, keeping your rifle's overall weight down.
