Advantage Arms
The Advantage Arms Conversion Kit for Glock 19/23 Gen 3 transforms your duty-size 9mm or .40 S&W Glock into a dedicated .22 LR trainer—letting you shoot more, spend less, and keep your fundamentals sharp between range trips. Whether you're burning through ammo for muscle memory work, introducing a new shooter to the platform, or just looking for affordable fun at the range, this Model CA conversion kit bolts on and functions like a complete upper assembly. It's built for Glock 19/23 Gen 1–3 platforms and features a recessed cut machined into the slide that accepts a variety of red dot optics, so you can run modern sighting solutions without aftermarket adapters.
Conversion kits like this are a practical way to extend your Glock's life as a training tool. The .22 LR round delivers the same trigger press and ergonomics as your duty gun but at a fraction of the cost per round. That means more trigger time, faster skill development, and the ability to practice drawstrokes, transitions, and accuracy drills without draining your centerfire ammunition budget. It's equally useful for teaching younger or less-experienced shooters the mechanics of a modern pistol platform on a caliber they can handle comfortably.
The kit arrives with everything you need to get to the range: two 10-round magazines and a dedicated range bag. Note that a red dot sight is not included—you'll choose your own optic to fit the factory recessed cut. The handgun itself is not included, so this pairs with any Gen 1–3 Glock 19 or 23 you already own. California legal design.
