The Accusharp 027C Pocket Stone is a dual-sided diamond sharpener built small enough to carry in a shirt pocket or pack without thinking twice about it. Whether you're in the field, on the water, or just maintaining your kitchen knives at home, this black sharpener gives you both coarse and fine diamond surfaces on one compact tool—no need to choose between touch-ups and serious edge restoration. Diamond abrasives cut faster and last longer than traditional stones, so you get quicker results with less maintenance headache.

Pocket-sized sharpeners are honest tools. They won't replace a full bench setup for honing a dull blade back to factory condition, but they're perfect for field touch-ups, keeping an edge from degrading during a hunt or camping trip, or doing quick refreshes on your hunting and kitchen knives. The coarse side handles neglected edges and removes small chips; the fine side polishes and refines. Two grits in one tool means less weight and fewer decisions.

Built for reliability and designed to fit any pack, the Accusharp 027C is made for hunters, anglers, backcountry travelers, and outdoor cooks who understand that a sharp blade is both safer and more pleasant to use. Black finish resists show and fits any gear aesthetic.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the coarse and fine sides?

The coarse side removes metal faster and is best for dull blades or minor chips. The fine side refines and polishes an already-sharp edge or puts a finishing touch on a blade you've worked on the coarse side. Most field sharpening starts coarse, then finishes fine.

Is this sharpener good for hunting and field knives?

Yes. The pocket size and dual grit make it practical for maintaining hunting, camp, and utility blades in the field. It won't fully restore a very dull blade, but it keeps edges usable and refreshes them during trips.

How do I use the Accusharp 027C?

Place the stone on a stable surface or hold it lightly, then draw your knife blade spine-first across the diamond surface at a low angle (around 15–20 degrees), working from spine to edge. Use the coarse side first if the blade is dull, then finish with the fine side. Always push the spine toward the stone; never pull.

What knives can I sharpen with this?

The Accusharp 027C works on any straight-edged knife blade—hunting knives, kitchen knives, camping blades, fillet knives, and utility blades. It is not designed for serrated edges.
