1791 Gunleather
The 1791 Gunleather NSS2.1CBRHR is an optic-ready shoulder holster built for Glock 17 owners who want a versatile carry option beyond traditional belt setups. Designed for right-hand draw, this horizontal shoulder holster works well for hunters, tactical shooters, and anyone who values quick access combined with the comfort and weight distribution of shoulder carry. Made from 1791 Gunleather's signature leather, it accommodates modern pistol setups equipped with mounted optics—a real advantage if your Glock 17 is running red-dot or reflex sights.
Shoulder holsters excel in specific situations: deep concealment in layered clothing, extended range days when belt carry becomes uncomfortable, vehicle work, or overlanding where you're moving in and out of a cab. The horizontal orientation keeps your muzzle safe and pointed downrange while you're seated or working. Right-hand configuration is cut for draw with your dominant hand, and the optic-ready design means your red-dot sight clears the holster without snagging or obstructing your view.
1791 Gunleather builds with real leather and attention to detail—this isn't a one-size-fits-all nylon rig. The NSS2.1CBRHR's brown leather will age and darken over time, developing character as you put miles on it. If you've been curious about shoulder carry or already trust 1791's other holster designs, this optic-ready model extends that same durability to a carry platform that works hard when traditional hip carry doesn't.

Yes. The NSS2.1CBRHR is specifically designed as an optic-ready shoulder holster, meaning the retention and geometry accommodate Glock 17 pistols fitted with red-dot or reflex sights without binding or obstruction.
This model is configured for right-hand draw. If you're left-handed, verify the correct model variant before ordering.
Shoulder carry distributes weight across your torso rather than concentrating it on your hip, making it more comfortable during long range sessions or all-day wear. It also works well under heavy jackets, in vehicles, or when you're frequently sitting and standing. The horizontal orientation keeps your muzzle pointed safely downrange in most positions.
It's constructed from leather. 1791 Gunleather uses full-grain leather that will patina and develop character over time with regular use.
