1791 Gunleather
The 1791 Gunleather Hunt Ammo Sling is built for hunters who want a single piece of gear that handles both rifle carry and ammunition storage. This oiled brown leather rifle sling combines traditional craftsmanship with practical field design, giving you a durable carry solution that ages well and stays functional through seasons of hard use. Whether you're hiking to a stand, glassing from a ridge, or transitioning between positions, this sling keeps your rifle secure while keeping shotshells or rifle rounds within easy reach.
Constructed from full-grain oiled leather, the Hunt Ammo Sling is built to weather—it'll take scuffs, rain, and rough handling without falling apart. The leather softens and darkens over time, developing a character that only quality leather can. The adjustable design spans 32" to 37" overall length, letting you dial in the fit that works for your body and your kit. Unlike synthetic alternatives that slide on coat sleeves or tangle in brush, leather slings grip where they need to and move predictably.
This is a rifle sling, not a universal strap—it's engineered specifically for the weight and balance of a hunting rifle. The oiled finish sheds light moisture and keeps the leather supple in the field. If you shoot traditional rifles and value gear that improves with age rather than degrading, this sling deserves a spot on your rack.

| Model | HNTASLRBRWA |
| Material | Oiled brown leather |
| Adjustable Length Range | 32" to 37" OAL |
| Type | Rifle sling with ammo storage |
This is a rifle sling, engineered for rifles rather than shotguns or other firearms. It will work on most hunting rifles with standard sling attachment points. Check your rifle's sling mounting system to confirm compatibility.
The overall length of the sling can be adjusted between 32" and 37" to fit your body and clothing layers. This range accommodates different body sizes and shooting positions, from shouldering at a bench to carrying while hiking.
The sling features integrated ammunition storage built into its design. It's meant to hold rifle rounds or shotshells for convenient access during the hunt without needing a separate pouch.
Oiled leather from 1791 Gunleather is designed to work hard right out of the box. Wipe off dirt and debris after use. The oiled finish naturally protects against light moisture. As the leather ages, it will darken and develop a patina characteristic of quality leather gear.
